Defending the Mothership
Description
Defeat the enemies. Collect upgrades. Defend your mothership. Regular Spacecraft – Defending the Mothership is a shoot ’em up with roguelike elements. Your goal is to destroy incoming enemies before they crash into the mothership. Along the way you'll collect gems that unlock upgrades to help you survive each run.
History
Regular Spacecraft started as a technical experiment to test the capabilities of our in-house engine, and quickly grew into a small homage to classic arcade shooters. Inspired by games of the time, we decided to combine arcade mechanics with elements from modern roguelikes. Development took about a year and a half, and the game was released on Steam on December 4th, 2023.
